Kennedy's office just called - Make calls to tell your Senator to oppose Hatch Amendment, 1007 to the fraud enforcement act now on floor. The DOL proposed this week to rescind the LM-2 regulation. Orrin Hatch has introduced an amendment to preclude this.

Please call you Senators' office NOW.

We've heard from floor staff that Hatch may offer an amendment to preclude the DOL from rescinding the LM-2 regulation, as DOL proposed earlier this week in a Notice of Proposed Rule Making, NPRM. We haven't seen the actual amendment language, but wanted to give you a heads up that this could be coming up later today.
